He promised that if we managed to preserve one acre he would donate ten. I have yet to see Ed come through with his side of the bargain.

I would just like to remind folks that they are partners with government funded programs (Natural Areas – Washtenaw County, the Greenbelt – City of Ann Arbor, and millages for land preservation in Ann Arbor, Scio, Superior and other local townships). So, your tax money is also going to preserve land. The county has preserved over 1300 acres since the Natural Areas millage was passed in 2000. This is a wonderful example of a successful public/private partnership. Special thanks to Susan Lackey and her efforts to bring everyone together.
