Her rationale…when she knew she knew a person but couldn’t reach into the memory banks for the name, she could subtlely glance at one on the right, while a ‘lefty’ required looking away, thus admitting to a potential voter that you’d forgotten them. I’ve found that implementing it for myself helps to retain the self dillusion that I’m unforgettable.

I am a beer enthusiast (thanks to my home brewing husband). I’m still a nursing mother, in addition to the director of a busy arts center. My 10 month old daughter was in the audience, with my husband, both of them making lots of new friends (most of them college girls, I think)! It was wonderful to be a part of this panel, and I thank Tamara, Angela, and everyone at the Arts Alliance, the Corner Brewery, and Americans for the Arts for making this possible.
