The Detroit News reports on a slide in Michigan’s unemployment rate, which hit a 16-year high in November, at 9.6 percent. The article quotes UM economist George Fulton: “These are doubtless the most uncertain times we have faced in the state since we started forecasting the Michigan economy 36 years ago.
