Hi Johnboy, Well that’s a point of view that I had not considered. I know some of the Three Chairs people and I don’t think that they are as cynical as would be required to support such a motivation. I’d like to believe that they were making a broader commentary.

Bob, I never considered that you, in posting your observation, was mocking. Rather I thought perhaps Three Chairs might be mocking the Futon Shop.

Johnboy, You are being overly sensitive. I had not even thought of the Futon Shop when I posted this item. I was just celebrating the fact that someone is bucking the trend and not going out of business, and has a sense of humor. Even though I never shopped at the Futon Store, I’ve been a long time member of the Art Center next door and always appreciated the offbeat nature of the Futon Store. It will be missed and I dread the thought of yet another coffee shop going in that space. Bob

Is this mocking the futon shop, a few doors away, that is going out of business? Seems rather mean.
