Special thanks to the Phi Delta Theta fraternity at UM for their altruistic effort in mounting the clever plan to present the young soap box derby racers to the community and to raise some funds for the Ann Arbor Action Against ALS. It was a pleasure to see the various generations of persons enjoying a beautiful day and enthusiastic effort by persons of all backgrounds working together for an altruistic cause. Thank you to all the sponsors and participants. The event displayed the city of Ann Arbor and UM at its best. I used Pearl Crescent Page Saver to get the whole article with all the photos as one long, long strip. If you know any printer that will print to a single continuous page of 17" wide and 92" tall I'd love to see what that would look like, or 11x60. Newsprint would be OK. Very nice.
