One of the great advatages of being the last title company with an office located downtown is Liberty Title's quick access to the Washtenaw County Register of Deeds for closings.... AND the many great restuarants just steps away. I can't speak for the attorneys, but my end of the transaction ended around 3:30pm , so I opted to hold off until dinner at one of the restaurants participating in Restaurant Week. Here's a link to those restaurants.

While the real estate transfer valuation affidavit would normally be confidential in a private entity transaction, the affidavit in this case should be subject to FOIA via a request to the university (for release at a later date, not at the sale closing).

Information is not terribly prominent, but it’s included in the caption to the last photo: “New Carco Acquisition LLC – the company that’s now holding some of Chrysler’s former assets following the automaker’s merger with Fiat.”
