We heard the whistle blowing while gawking at the filming of “Flipped” in Virginia Park. It fit right in with the old vehicles and 1940s/50s period costumes.
This weekend there is a convention in Owosso with alot of steam engines. A number of them will be using AA RR tracks to get there.

As noted in the description: “This is the Nickel Plate 765 at the Pontiac Trail Ann Arbor Railroad grade crossing on July 21, 2009. Right after this the Ann Arbor RR handed the 765 off to the Great Lakes Central RR at the siding between Joy Rd and North Territorial Rd.”
