Everything we do is political. Where you shop, if you recycle and whether or not you ride a bike or drive an SUV are decisions made in accordance with your politics. It’s not news that politicians are politically motivated.

Practically every action that council takes that requires money is an unfunded mandate, particularly when going into debt on the taxpayers dime for the new city hall and the underground parking structure.

Over the years I’m sure there have been many citizens who have communicated with council via email who would have assumed some level of privacy and decorum. Mr Anglin, I would not have their private issues dragged through your unkind streets.
