I wouldn’t blame it on the economy per se. Netflix just made it easier to rent movies. I’d blame it on our priority on time and what we’d rather be doing as humans than making that extra errand done to get a movie back on time before we’re penalized.

I hate that this has happened, especially because Dave has put so much time into the business. But on the positive end of this, maybe they can come home to Georgia where they belong, with family.

I swear I remember reading a comment recently on the library site denying any effect on local video business.

It’s a shame, but it does seem like physical media isn’t much of a feasible business interest anymore.

Ahhh! This sucks. I’ve resisted NetFlix because I hate the idea of places like this going out of business. Er, I guess my strategy didn’t work :(
