Briarcrest condos

Stopped. Watched. icon

A runaway sheep gamboling through the condo complex. Perhaps an escapee from a nearby live nativity scene? In hot pursuit, a man yelling “Sheep Loose!”

    Only quibble is, where is the video?

    I also have a quibble … with the phrasal choice of the chaser, “Sheep loose!” I wish he would have managed the pun: “Stop, Sheep!” But in crisis situations, wordplay is likely not one’s first priority.

    I am kind of fond of the phrase “Sheep loose!” but am also still yearning for the video.

    Yeah, that’s fun to say.

    Unless ewe come up with that video, I’ll have to presume someone’s spinning a yarn. ;-}

    Did they ever catch the sheep or is it still on the lamb?

    One of the stranger events of the last year was when someone saw a *wild boar* in my neighborhood (in tame suburban Scio right across from the Auto Mall).

    We had a monkey in our neighborhood a few years ago. Some student moved out and left the monkey to fend for itself. Shocked the heck out of my neighbor to see a monkey hanging from her backyard tree! Apparently the Humane Society gets an influx of exotic pets during UM move out.
