		<description>The attempt by AATA Board members to make an issue out of their treasurer&#039;s including his opinions of AATA financial matters in his Treasurer&#039;s Report is silly.  Surely the Board has more important matters to deal with than complaining about such inclusions, which could otherwise be presented in a separate document, called &quot;Treasurer&#039;s Comments on AATA Financial Issues&quot;.  If other Board members disagree with some comments, all they have to do is publicly indicate their disagreement, and then move on.

Unanimity of opinion on major issues by members of public bodies is not particularly desireable.  Decisions are generally improved by vigorous public debate. I appreciate extra analysis of financial matters, and free public expression of opinions and conclusions, whether I agree with them or not. I was particularly interested in the information about designated capital funds being used for operating expenses.</description>
