I just watched for about a minute, then the ever-ready police drove up and broke it up.

If it were serious I’d probably call the cops — if someone’s life was in endangered — but after working the “tough streets” of the student ghetto at night for a while, scuffles – no matter the gender of the offender – don’t seem like 911-worthy events.

I suppose my sexist mind would make me act differently if I saw a man hitting a girl, but that’s my own issue…
