    The stone work on what became the Frieze Building did not say “Public Library” as it does now; it had said “Carnegie”. I wonder if new label will prove to be troublesome.

    After so many months (years?) of walking or biking past the fence on Washington, I was really impressed when it came down. It’s really quite lovely.
