I walked up Huron telling people what was up, then tried to warn drivers on First turning right onto Huron. Mostly people were glad to know but on Huron I encountered one enraged driver who swore she would never return to Ann Arbor ever again. “It was an accident” I told her. She tried to drive off in a huff, but of course could only move a couple feet.
At 6:45 utility workers were working on the wires affected by the top of the pole breaking off.
Worst traffic I have ever seen in Ann Arbor not associated with football. And I’m a native.
