ALS is a devastating neurological condition.

Researchers are learning more about its causes.

I salute all that contributed to this successful event and hope that it brings a greater awareness of ALS and support for its sufferers and their families.

The Ann Arbor community has been amazing in their support for Bob and Gretchen and the girls and all others suffering from ALS. Thank you, once again, for organizing such terrific events that bring so many people together to raise money to help find a cure for this devastating disease. What a fantastic event! The people of Ann Arbor once again demonstrate why this is such a terrific place to live, showing up to support A2A3. Your compassion is an inspiration to ALS patients like me!

Thanks Dave Askins for a really nice write-up. BIG THANKS to Skyline High School’s 2010 Men’s Swimming Team for hosting the event. Thank you also to the sponsors, especially Pizza House, and also Probility, Health and Fitness Center at Washtenaw Community College, Jolly Pumpkin, Grizzly Peak, Blue Tractor, and Barry’s Bagels.

Area Swimmers, pass on the word that this was a really well done meet that was both fun and feel good for every swimmer and fan. Next year it will be even bigger and better. Pass the word and look for more pictures and video at http://www.a2a3.org.
