    Eight and Tappan??? I don’t think they cross. Are not those two streets about a mile apart? [Editor's note: The item originally had the headline: "Eighth & Tappan"]

    Re: [1] Yes. Asleep at the switch here. It’s possible that Matt meant to reference the middle school on Eighth [Slauson], and wrote Tappan instead of Slauson. Now checking.
