Core sample taken from the old Ann Arbor landfill brought up some scraps of paper. Searched Google Books to find the text – it’s from Michigan Living Volume 67 (1984), an article on Buicks. [photo]

For those with deeper interest, we cored the landfill cap to see that we still had 2 feet of clay on top after 25 years… And we do. It keeps the water out.
