Those must be knights, of the dragon slaying sort, not the steer carving type. One of my old buddies is a monk, they don’t even allow chickens on the monastery grounds. Maids are strictly a no-no. I think his head would explode.
Cosmonican–I did hesitate about describing them as monks for this reason. But they had long, brown, pointy-hooded outfits that did not look very knightish. Maybe it is casual Thursday in the knight world?
Pointy hoods, possibly squires? Is there a relationship between the behavior of squires and squirrels in June? May explain the similarity of the name.
