Trees should be located so that they wouldn’t have to be taken down in the future to make room for a bike lane, she said, “because taking down trees in this city is like taking your life in your hands.””

Ms. Calberg apparently didn’t look across Washtenaw at the hundreds of trees that were bulldozed for the other ‘bike’ path currently being constructed between Arborland and the U of M Campus.
