Actually, that’s the Crane Company’s Crane Removal Crane taking down the tower crane. They took town the Zaragon tower crane this week, after taking down the library lot tower crane last week. Bet they got a twofer (same crane rental company although different construction managers)
I talked to the guys last January when they were erecting the tower crane. They said it was in what would become the elevator shaft of the building. That block of Thompson, from William to Jefferson is closed this week.
