[Construction of City Place project status update: Three levels framed.] The city of Ann Arbor called the third level of this building a “dormer” which allowed the building to be six feet taller than would otherwise be allowed.  Does it look like a dormer to you? [photo]

    If you look at the elevations you will see that most of the third floor is within these dormers. So you can see that the side walls of the third floor is slightly within the faces of the second floor below. Also in the middle of the long wall there is a slot. These three areas will have a little bit of roof sloping through and then an eave will be built below the third floor windows and it will look like a dormer. But you’re right it does not look like that now.
