I doubt a warning sign would be heeded. Maybe a permanent measuring stick showing the depth would help? There is also the danger of a fast incoming train. Then you don’t have much choice but to jump. I didn’t editorialize for the Stopped Watched but included the comment about touching bottom for a reason. Maybe next time I should yell something about permanent life-threatening injury? I just don’t know.
