In my mind raising the basic knowledge of the average is far more important, so the US universities can do the research without any help from Asia (where learning while playing seems to be still a fresh idea), or the best Ann Arbor restaurants can hire waiters capable of figuring out who ordered what at the six-person table.

The latter rely on precise time division for frequency sharing. It might be of note that spread spectrum is how the GPS service works, with GPS being the method used for synchronizing cell sites such that they can work as a system.
