Re: [2] The E. Washington address listed there is, I think, likely a business address for the ownership group, but was not able to verify.

In any case, based on Craigslist, the Main and Liberty location of the old Parthenon will feature Cafe Habana downstairs and Lena as an upstairs restaurant, described in an ad for its executive chef as follows:

This is a 130-seat upscale, modern, Latin-influenced restaurant with subterranean club. Opening date August 2012 Lena will be operated by Mission Management, a leader in Michigan hospitality for many years, and operator of many successful independent restaurants including Grizzly Peak Brewing Company, Jolly Pumpkin, Bastone, North Peak and others.

Responsibilities include menu development; hiring, training, motivation and supervision of kitchen staff; line and prep production; food ordering and inventory; creation and execution of daily specials; scheduling of kitchen staff; food and labor cost control; and maintenance of all quality, safety and sanitation standards.

We offer a professional work environment, competitive compensation, good benefits, and the opportunity to advance your culinary career.

The “help wanted” sign in the window is now supplemented by a table set out in front of Cafe/Restaurant Lena-Habana, staffed by one or two individuals with several sign-up sheets for would-be employees. While walking by, I saw a couple of people filling in the forms.
