Jerry was elected at the same time that a federal grand jury was looking into possible civil rights violations at the WCSD; one deputy was plea-convicted of a federal civil rights violation against Clifton’s brother, Bruce; several deputies were fired or suspended arising out of that incident.

Jerry Clayton promised changes and did deliver.

I met Jerry Clayton for the first time as we were both working on judicial candidate Jim Fink’s campaign. It was refreshing that he put aside party politics to support Mr. Fink, who was clearly an excellent candidate.

I hope everyone will get out to vote on November 6th and please vote for Jerry. He has done some amazing things despite the lack of money that the County has available for law enforcement.
