But the issue is not revenue per se. The cost of constructing it was so huge that the return on investment is quite dismal. Parking meter spaces on the other hand have barely any cost of construction attached to it. So even if they rake in less revenue their return on investment is several time over that of the Library Lane garage. In essence, the Library Lane garage was a very poor choice in terms of tax dollar investment.

We have the highest paid City Attorney in the State. Someone must be held accountable for this.

Detter’s seat on that council expired in October of last year.

In fact all 15 members of that group had their seats expire and no one is current.

Check the City of Ann Arbor government website.

Is this unprecedented in municipal government – all members of a public body failed to re-apply?

Thanks to Sandi Smith for setting the imprisoned data free. Jail break!

Please make your self heard at Public Comentary. We all as Ann Arbor tax payers must take back our City. The DDA has wasted so much needed tax dollars that it makes me sick. Its time for a new Ann Arbor…..

These reports ought to be able to generated automatically. And, there could even be a check in the program that looks for spikes that might indicate an error in the data.

Ann Arbor needs to be more like Vancouver, Canada. They open up their data and individuals make reports/apps, etc. based on the data. This is better than the city’s slow release of a trickle.
