Morning vendors had strawberries!
Just one more reason to grow your own, Mary. :-)
We’ve been eating ours for several days (as have the birds, chipmunks, and squirrels), froze a couple of quarts, and shared a pint or so with the neighbors. We should have a year’s supply in the freezer (and breakfast berries most days in the meantime) before they stop producing in a few weeks.
Last Saturday there was a new farmer there with some really nice strawberries. In the formerly-dirt alley roughly across from Seely Farms.
