The Fourth Ward needs a vocal advocate for change and accountability.

Anything that requires lots of judgment from both pedestrians and drivers seems to be a recipe for injury.

I say this because my attention was drawn to three boards and commissions that filed meeting minutes very late: Public Arts Commission with minutes from 2012, Greenbelt Advisory Commission with minutes from 2011 (!), and Taxicab Board with minutes from January 2013.

Midblock crosswalks are legal in other cities, in Michigan and in other states, and will continue to be legal if the Ann Arbor ordinance is repealed.
