    My friend has an adage: “Enough ice in November to walk a duck, the rest of the winter–mud and muck.” Hope it doesn’t come true in this case…

    Not much danger with the West Park pond. I think no part of that pond is over 2 feet deep. Maybe someone knows better?

    Not to be overly picky about a very nice picture, but those tracks look to me like they are from the wagon visible in the distance, not from a bike.

    Good point, those are probably wagon tracks, but I did ride my bike on the ice in the middle distance before taking the picture.
