There was a great deal of discussion at the Tuesday meeting about W. Stadium (the street on the West Side) and its commercial development as the AHP changes might affect both that development and the adjacent residential areas. It did not have anything to do with the UM Stadium and its renovations. They are huge!

I have driven by the stadium numerous times and marveled at its size, but it wasn’t until I looked at it from inside the AAA building across the street that I realized it is humungous. The AAA office is now effectively bricked in. It would be a fright if this were to happen to the whole “corridor.” The corridor concept itself is a scary one.
