The Planning Commission should just tell the developer of Heritage Row to get lost, they’re not interested in ANY change, period. Much better to leave poorly maintained structures, trash strewn lawns, and gravel back yard “parking lots”. And for those who want to argue that the developer let these properties get that way on purpose (heard that one before) I would point out that he must have owned those properties for at least 15 years, under a few different names. These places have been student ghetto housing far longer than that. Also it is completely laughable to say that residents of Hamilton Place would lose privacy. It is being said as though those places are well maintained, lovely living spaces – they are not. There was one beautiful home on Hamilton Place and now even that has gone over to rental which means it will be shabby in no time. Way to go Planning Commission.
