They operated through 2009 as the Midwest Sliders of Ypsilanti, playing at EMU’s Oestrike Stadium. This summer they changed their name, but still played the first half of the season at Oestrike. Due to delays in constructing their permanent stadium, they divided their second-half home games between Oakland University and Livonia.
