I find it commendable. That actually takes some work to type up.

Maybe you guys should hold a governor debate.

They would be qualified to elect representatives to actually go to a constitutional convention, and have something that would actually work” At first read it’s sounds like this is the same argument the founding fathers had and why they established the “electorial college”, so the peasents wouldn’t screw things up. Unfortunalety there may be some truth in this more Americans know about who’s on “American Idiol” or someother sports trivia than they do about political goings on…hence the mess we have is what we have earned??

We’re big enough to handle it ourselves.”

This has been the theme of the Republican Party since the Reagan years.

Both the U.S. Green Party and Libertarian Party have likewise called for a restructring of American government to empower the county and local levels of governance. The benefit of doing so is that the average American could have more influence in the way he was ruled if power was concentrated locally by personal lobbying or voting out representatives who were at variance with the will of the local populace.

The Democrats have been the sole major force in American politics who have taken the position that increased centralization of power in the federal government is a good thing.

The electoral backlash caused by citizen outrage over Democratic Party and President Obama’a Big Brother philosophies will manifest itself throughout the county on Election Day this November.
