Is he seeking the nomination of a major political party?

When the case was finally reported to campus police months later, any evidence of foul play was long gone. The campus police even asked the County Prosecutor for charges of Obstruction of justice against the Captain of Security at University Hospital but because they could not prove an underlying crime (homicide) they felt they could not charge the Security Officer with Obstruction but the sent a warning to UM that all suspected crimes need to be reported to the police.

UM obviously did not heed that warning in the child pornography case. This is a massive failure of the University administration. The external investigation needs to include such previous cases of failure to report suspected crimes to police.
