The purchasing power of that salary would be equivalent to a 2011 salary of $132,000. Now how much are Brady Hoke or Urban Meyer being paid? The scale of growth in value of the adjunct entertainment arm of the university is truly appalling. UM ranked 18 in the global rankings released this week by the Times Higher Education Supplement (not that ratings say much other than the cultural fixation on horse races). I don’t think football factored into this placement.
