That would be a better use than it is now; it would preserve the land buffering the schools, and remove the tax and maintenance costs from the schools budget.

But the city provides parkland for the rest of Ann Arbor, so why should FHC residents have to supply their own? Why is that inequity OK? (I’m not sure why the emphasis on *Cooperative*–the fact they’re a coop doesn’t mean they’re some kind of collectivist hippies. They just own shares in the coop.)
