“My ward meetings are advertised, including on Democratic Party things – so if you’ve been an active Democrat, you would know about it.”

So if one is not active in Democratic politics they don’t get invited to ward meetings? Seems to me that council members should represent their ward, not their party.

And while I’ll be lighting a candle for Derezinski’s defeat come August 7, he does deserve kudos for his actually talking about his love of the Democratic Party–something seriously lacking from other ‘democrats’ in the Mayor’s office and on Council.

Tony–from recent comments from the Mayor and Council Party to public speakers and other representatives on Council, you are probably talking to the wrong person about ‘civility’. Lol.

Quick correction: My meeting with Christopher Taylor was on February 8th, just days after I took out nominating petitions. It was in December when I learned that Chris and I had mutual friends, so I eventually sought out his advice.
