Jim Toy is an American hero, one who was not afraid to step out and speak out when “the closet was lonely, dark, and deep.” I remember how alone he seemed in doing so, in our community those many years ago. Thank you, Jim, for leading the way and for inspiring others to follow.

We all must take action, untill the mayor and certain council members realize we are not going to sacrifise our tax dollars for their personal intrest. There will be a large number of citizens speaking the topic will be “Conflict of Intrest ” Please come to the May 6 City Council meeting and let your voices be heard. Please make sure to call the city clerks office and sign up for public comentary……..

I attended that meeting to speak before council on city matters, and was moved and motivated to speak my mind after hearing Mr.Toy’s remarks.. I suspect others were, too. Never has it been so important to voice one’s concerns and opinions. We can only hope that people are listening.
