City Planning Commission: Jeremy Peters (Replacing-Tony Derezinski)

Economic Development Corporation Board: Jan Davies McDermot (Filling Vacancy)

Mary, I think it would be more accurate to not describe the appointment of a new commission member as a “replacement” for a departing member (which would also apply in the case of new appointee Paris Parekh), primarily given that the resolution is not framed that way (I believe).

How are you aware of this? Has the City Council approved him as a “compromise candidate” after indicating they did would not agreee to Tony Derezinski?

It was Jane Lumm who dissented from appointing Tony D. to the Planning Commision in 2012.

I’m glad the Planning Commission is pressing the Hampton Inn developer for better bike and pedestrian access. We have way too many projects where the sidewalks are more decorative than functional.
