It seems that all of the fruiting trees this year are making up for last year, when they bore no fruit at all due to the early warming spell and the hard frost that followed, killing all of the flowering buds.

The peaches were so thick that they bent the trees branches over, making it appear more like a bush than a tree!

Near me is an apple tree intended as an ornamental (I assume) with very refreshing tiny green (but ripe) apples. I have sampled every time I pass by and brought a few home. I think they are too mild to make a cooking apple.
