But then, more importantly: thank you for the thoughtful article. Right on the money about our separation from the cycle of production, be it food or coal or what-not. I tend to think that our distance from the process of making the things we consume will eventually be our undoing. Which is gloomy of me, I know. Maybe it will be a fun undoing, where we party like it’s 1999?
