Another is that signs are not supposed to be put inside the public right of way. If you have a sidewalk, that amounts to approximately your lawn extension.

I was told that my sign was illegal. I have called traffic calming several times to have the speed monitoring sign put on our street but no one ever responds. I hope it doesn’t take another accident to get people to slow down especially with all the children walking back and forth to Eberwhite Elementary.

I got one for in front of my house on Krause. Cars travel way too fast on my street, especially since the Y opened a block away and its members use our street and parking lot. I hope the sign will help.
