Last year about this time, there was a pair of bald eagles just upstream on Argo Pond. With the ice cover, they were found perched on the edge of the ice, fishing, every morning for about a week.

The heron then carried it over to the shore and pecked at it long enough to cut it into manageable sized chunks.
