Trees along N. Revena, Linwood, Arbana, and other streets in that area were also blown over.

The road work probably did do damage to the tree’s root systems. I had Orangeburge pipe replaced a couple of years ago, with a 60 foot cedar in the front yard, so I had it done in the winter when it would least damage the tree, and the contractors tunneled under the yard using pipe bursting, so they didn’t have to dig up the yard and damage roots. My first reply was off the cuff, sorry.
