This downtown apartment is suddenly missing a wall and part of the ceiling. You can see daylight as it is also missing some important window parts as well. [photo 1] [photo 2]

Channel 2 was on the scene of this downed tree and the others. Backyards were being taped off east of this tree. Firefighters with chain saws were just beginning to work on it around 6 p.m. Lots of neighbors out and talk of power out in the area. A DTE worker said the Red Cross was on the scene and available if needed. [photo 1] [photo 2] [photo 3] [photo 4]

This was a near miss that did surprisingly little damage. The homeowner Geoff Robb talked over his fallen tree. They have a crushed air conditioner. The neighbors brand new car was not in the driveway and their damage was quickly tarped and not severe. [photo-1] [photo-2] [photo-3] [photo-4]
