Title Resolution Regarding Mutually Beneficial Committee Body Whereas, The City Council acknowledges the Downtown Development Authority's resolution adopted May 5, 2010 entitled "Resolution to Authorize Providing the City With $2 Million in Fiscal Year 2010/11" with thanks; Whereas, The memo to the DDA dated April 28, 2010 entitled "City of Ann Arbor - DDA Operations" provides a framework for discussion; and Whereas, It is in the public interest that the DDA and the City Council work together to draft a formal agreement on the basis of that framework by October 31, 2010; RESOLVED, That the City Council's Mutually Beneficial Committee shall be hereby created and meet at least monthly, commencing immediately, jointly with the DDA's Mutually Beneficial Committee; RESOLVED, That the City Council's Mutually Beneficial Committee may, in addition, conduct its own meetings; RESOLVED, That the City Administrator will direct City staff to work jointly with the DDA's staff to craft a final draft agreement under the direction of the Mutually Beneficial Committee; and RESOLVED, That the City's Mutually Beneficial Committee shall report on the details of the ongoing negotiations at each first monthly meeting of the City Council; and RESOLVED, That the City Council appoint Councilmembers Teall, Hohnke, and Taylor to the City's Mutually Beneficial Committee.
