    I spotted the same scene ~12:45. (or maybe 1:45? I forgot to change to EST). Overheard: “How much should we give it? It’s 25c an hour”. Nope, no it isn’t.

    Definitely NOT 25c an hour. And still don’t feed them after 6 p.m.!

    Addendum: I chatted about the new parking meter system with a roving Republic Parking representative. He explained that the flat device on top of the payment machine was a solar panel and told me that the parking price is now $!/hour or 3 minutes for a nickel. I asked him how much each new meter cost, but he did not know, he said.
