    I’ve always been surprised that moviemakers haven’t taken more advantage of this resource. If you have watched Inspector Morse and similar shows (and if you have visited Oxford), you know that this is an amazingly good facsimle of an Oxford college. Of course, such shooting is likely to interrupt the pieceful life of the quad.

    neither a movie or law school promo. they’re filming all over campus today/tonight for “pure michigan,” the state’s tourism portal: link to Michigan tourism site

    Thanks for the info David! I should have asked this morning, but they all looked so serious and focused.

    Vivienne, I agree. I think the Law Quad would be great for movies. Beautiful like a big quad, but smaller and easy to secure and manage. I always think it looks like a set itself. The other place I think is like a movie set is the Mews in Ashley Mews.
