State Street between Huron and Washington is closed while a small crane takes down the big tower crane for the North Quad project. The horizontal leg is down, and just the tower is left currently.

Any news on whether State between Huron and Washington will be two-way again any time soon?
I don’t know. The crane at that corner is completely down now; if the contractor planned it out, they could reconstruct the curbs & sidewalk on the east side and open State up by the end of the month. Same for Huron, since the building exterior is done there as well.
