    Which bridge is this, the one crossing Mallett’s Creek towards the Packard Street entrance to the park, or the one crossing the detainment area south of Hikone apartments?

    The small bridge off the parking lot on Packard. The bird looks more like a stone. I was with some sharp eyed bird watchers who spotted it, I wouldn’t have seen it on my own. The human tracks going down to the stream to get a closer look may still be there, unless the morning snow covered them.

    Ohh how sad! My house is just down stream from the bridge and I believe I saw this great bird alive a few weeks ago. I wondered then, why didn’t this bird fly south?
